Classic Has-Beens and New Wanna-Be’s

I have always had a fascination for classic/retro items—“has been’s”—especially those that still have the potential to be around to bring joy for many more years.
The good news...when I find them, I want to bring them home.
The bad news...my cozy little house can not accommodate all these treasures.
The other good news...I get to share them with you!

I also have a strange affinity for throw-aways. Amongst all my fabric scraps and sewing equipment, you will find collections of empty, formerly-trashed bags (everything from cookies and candy to croutons and coffee) that are waiting to be repurposed into fun, useful pouches and bags.

Not that I have abandoned my love for the feel and smell of new fabric. I love mixing and matching fabrics to create new items that you will “wanna be” keeping for a long while.

If you should visit my sewing room, you would most likely hear music in the background accompanying the hum of my sewing machine. That's how this nostalgic, crafter-musician works best!
